Gather round, it’s time to dive into the niche Summer House drama between Kyle Cooke and Hannah Berner (who, btw, has a great Netflix special out at the moment that everyone should watch).

Some quick lore: Ther’'ve been ~rumors and speculation~ that Kyle had a hand in Hannah being “fired” from Summer House. And she went ahead and touched on said rumors during an interview on David Portnoy’s BFF podcast, claiming that an ad she did for a seltzer upset Kyle, who was promoting his brand Loverboy at the time.

“The truth is beef started ’cause I did an ad for Truly Seltzer, and I didn’t know that I, like, wasn’t allowed to,” Hannah explained, noting that Bravo “didn’t fire her” but that “some people on the cast got annoyed at me.” She then said, “I didn’t know that I wasn’t allowed to drink other drinks.”

“I think some of these shows become a lot of egos,” Hannah added. “And it’s like, ‘It’s my show. It’s my drink. You can’t do that.’ And there’s no rules, and it just becomes fighting over egos and screen time, and it’s not that fun after doing it for too many seasons.”

Cut to Kyle, who just told Page Six that he has “nothing to do with casting” and is upset by this narrative “because there’s no truth to it.”

“I’m flattered anyone thinks I could have that kind of pull,” he said. “But clearly, I don’t have any control over what Bravo does.” As for Hannah’s Truly campaign, Kyle says, “We never spoke about it, but when I saw it, I thought that it made a lot of sense for them to tap into the Bravo fan base.”

He also noted that his “issues with Hannah had nothing to do with beverages or egos or screen time—they had to do with how she was treating Amanda.”

However! It looks like the Bravo star is ready to squash this beef, because he ended his musings with “I hate having lingering issues with anyone in my life, and I always hoped for an opportunity to reconcile things with Hannah.…I don’t want any bad blood and wish her nothing but success.”
