Prince William is focusing on supporting Kate Middleton as she undergoes preventative chemotherapy—but it hasn't been easy on him. A source tells Us Weekly that the Prince of Wales feels “helpless and scared” amid his wife's cancer diagnosis, and is trying to spend as much time at home as possible.
“William is trying to be there for Kate and helping in every way he can,” the insider explains. “He’s been doing schoolwork with the kids and spending time with them in the afternoons and evenings.”
The source also reveals that “Kate was shocked when they found the cancer and in shock for a while after,” and that the couple was “not ready for the diagnosis.”
