Another day, another Kate Middleton photoshop scandal! Hot on the heels of the Princess of Wales' Mother's Day post being recalled for glaring photoshop errors (it's a whole thing, so head this way for all the deets), the internet is calling out "discrepancies" in a picture of her taken on March 11.
Basically, Kate was photographed leaving her home in Windsor with her husband Prince William, and Twitter almost immediately became obsessed with the fact that the bricks behind them were two different colors...which obviously prompted more photoshop claims.
You can analyze the snap for yourself right this way, but Goff Photos—the agency that distributed it—released a statement to multiple outlets including Entertainment Tonight and E! News that noted the "image has been cropped and lightened, nothing has been doctored."
Oh, and btw, if you take a virtual Google Maps stroll down the street the pic was taken on, it's pretty clear the bricks are all different colors.
Meanwhile, Kensington Palace has remained tight-lipped about Kate's personal photoshop scandal since she released her apology on March 11. But a "palace insider" recently dished to People that the incident is a "bump in the road, it's not an earthquake," and noted that Kate "apologized and graciously so."
The source also claimed the following: "She has done something that 99% of us do—and we don’t have the scrutiny that they do. Think of the level of scrutiny of pictures of her, as people [pour] over them. You’re always on display and always got to be perfect. She might be a member of the royal family, but she’s also a human being. If you've just had an operation, you want to look your best with the first photograph that’s published for the outside world."
