Taylor Swift arrived at the Super Bowl with her entire family and an entourage of friends including Blake Lively and Ice Spice, and they pretty much immediately posted up in a fancy suite (which apparently Travis Kelce dropped over $1 million on).
But you might be wondering why Taylor is chilling in the suite ahead of the game, while Brittany Mahomes and her kids are on the field watching the Chiefs prep for the game. Here’s Brittany’s on-field vibe:

So....why isn’t Taylor on the field with Brittany? No officially explanation has been given, but doesn’t seem like it’s that big of a leap to assume security has something to do with it. Not to mention the fact that if Taylor Swift randomly wandered onto the field, everyone would completely spiral with excitement, and she tends to keep things pretty low-key.
As Tay put it to Time magazine, “I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in. There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once. I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
