Miley Cyrus proved yet again why she’s one of our absolute fave bona fide pop stars—this time, with her *chef’s kiss* performance of “Flowers” at the 2024 Grammy Awards. Tonight, the celeb took the stage at the awards show for the first time in five (!!) years since performing the smash hit “In My Blood” with Shawn Mendes back in 2019. And if you think that was an excuse to watch this iconic vid, you’d be absolutely right, lol:

But back to tonight’s performance (which, btw, also happened to be the first time Miley has performed the song on TV since its release in January 2023)! The musician looked incredible in a silver fringe dance dress as she sang her hit track and, understandably, the internet collectively lost its sh*t:

Not only did she absolutely serve and also remind us about the kind of icon she is, but she also called out Liam Hemsworth:

Oh, and here’s the performance in full if you wanna watch, like, a million times:

Oh, and yes, that was a Tina Turner tribute at the end:

A few days ago, fans were clued in to the fact that Miley would sing at tonight’s ceremony, with Variety being the first to break the news that the celeb had a “blow-you-away good” rehearsal this past Friday at Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles. The outlet also spoke with a source close to the sitch, who noted that the singer “is in fine vocal form,” which, she fully proved tonight.

Incredible performance aside, Miley has a massive night ahead of her, including being nominated for six awards: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album. She’s already taking home her first Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance!

ILYSM MILEY!!!!
