Nothing more cringe than showing up to an event only to find your random ex in attendance, but take that feeling and amplify it by several thousand and that’s what Taylor Swift was dealing with at the 2024 Grammy Awards. As you may have noticed, Taylor’s ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris was there due to being nominated for “Miracle” along with Tay’s friend Ellie Goulding, who had introduced them.
And while Calvin and Tay didn’t interact directly, fans did catch a few awkward moments.

As a reminder, Taylor and Calvin dated from February of 2015 to May of 2016, and it doesn’t appear to have ended well.
People initially reported, “There was no drama. Things just don’t work out sometimes. No one cheated.” But then things took a turn for the messy when news broke that Taylor was the one who wrote Calvin and Rihanna’s mega-hit “This Is What You Came For” under the pseudonym "Nils Sjoberg."
Calvin went on a rant about the revelation on Twitter, writing, “I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship, you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex-BF down for something to do. I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it.”
Truly, it was...a lot!
