We all knew that Beyoncé was going to show up and show *out* for her hometown of Houston, Texas, on the Renaissance Tour, but she pulled some real hot girl shit (😜) and brought out another Houston hottie: Megan Thee Stallion. The ladies performed their “Savage” remix together, marking their first time performing it live since the song’s release in 2020. Of course, Beyoncé hyped up Miss Megan (as she should!!).
“Don’t she make you proud, Houston? She makes me proud. I love you, queen,” Bey said. Can you even imagine *the* Beyoncé calling you a queen? I’d be untouchable. Megan reacted the same exact way we’d all react:
“I love you, Beyoncé! Aaaaahhhhhh!!!!!” she screamed while jumping up and down in a circle. Like, same.
Megan then took to TikTok to document her experience with the most hilarious commentary.
“Yall ive been ugly crying with my lace lifting all weekend lol i will never stop screaming about this moment! I have loved BEYONCE my WHOLE LIFE this means EVERYTHING TO ME! I love you BEY 💙 💙 💙 thank you for everything,” she wrote in the caption.
“Bitch, I will never shut the fuck up because I performed with Beyoncéééé!” Megan said in her video (Btw, totally don’t blame her. I, too, would never shut up if I performed with Beyoncé).
“Y’all don’t know how many times I have cried this goddamn weekend, like y’all don’t understand, Beyoncé is my idol, like I really genuinely love Beyoncé with my whole fucking heart,” she continued on.
Megan also talked about how much Beyoncé meant to her and her mom who passed away in 2019, explaining how grateful she is to have had the opportunity to perform with someone so important to her (aka “the woman that is the woman of all the womens”).
Of course, they both slayed the performance. I’m so happy to see Megan living my her dream. 🥹
