Vanderpump Rules has been enjoying its highest ratings pretty much ever thanks to Scandoval, and there are several questions on everyone's collective hive mind: Will the cast come back for season 11? And will Ariana Madix get a raise considering that Bravo has been making $$$$ off the end of her relationship?
TBD on that first question, but Ariana ran into a pap while at LAX on Thursday, who wasted no time asking if she'd be negotiating a raise. In response, Ariana said she doesn't “know” and added “that’s not up to me.”
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the core cast members of Vanderpump Rules make $25,000 per episode, or up to $600,000 per season, depending on episode count. But they're in the middle of contract negotiations right now, so that number could increase. However, Vanderpump Rules EP Alex Baskin told Variety “There’s a pay scale that we’ve tended to use for tenure. I think that the group knows that it isn’t like the ratings necessarily translate into — there aren’t riches on the other side, and there’s a sort of reality of the business.”
Meanwhile, Ariana told Glamour that she's saying yes to pretty much every endorsement deal that's offered to her, explaining “We have no generational wealth in our family. I want to make enough money to be able to take care of my mom and my brother and any other family members who may or may not need it. I never want to worry about it ever, ever, ever. So I will work as much as possible to not have to.”
