It’s been nearly four years since romance rumors started circulating about Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause and musician G Flip, but tbh, you’d think these two had been together forever based on how loved-up they seem. What began with a cameo in a music video turned into a truly epic love story, and we’re here to revisit every last moment. Here’s how the reality star first met her Aussie sweetheart—and everything that’s happened since then.
October 2021
Chrishell and G Flip meet for the first time at (where else?) a Halloween party. G was performing a show with Tones and I at the party, to which Chrishell was invited as a client and friend of Tones and I. To make things even cuter, G and Chrishell accidentally wore matching costumes.
“I was a very DIY, thrift-store skeleton,” G later tells Vogue Australia during a January 2023 interview. “My costume would’ve cost me all but $15. And Chrishell looked like a million-dollar skeleton.”

December 2021
After seven months of dating, Chrishell announces that she and her Selling Sunset costar, Jason Oppenheim, are no longer an item.
“Jason was and is my best friend, and other than our ideas for family ultimately not being aligned, the amount of respect and love we have for each other will not change going forward,” Chrishell writes in a since-deleted Instagram post.

Chrishell shares a selfie with G Flip on her Instagram that’s placed smack-dab in the middle of a carousel with the caption, “Roundup from most pics that went in Stories. 💃🏻 Hope you guys have an amazing weekend! Grateful for every person in these pics! Curious—do you guys enjoy pics or vids better…? 🤔”
I mean…we really only have one answer: either! (As long as it’s with G Flip, obvi.)
By the end of the month, a source tells Us Weekly the pair was spotted at an Oscars after-party, saying, “They both were by themselves at a table and didn’t interact much with others.” Okay, intimate vibes!

Someone posts a cute pic of the two holding hands while out in Denver on Reddit that makes us all melt just a little.
Soon after, the duo is spotted out at a Hollywood lounge and the pics obtained by Page Six are 🔥🔥🔥, to say the least.
Literally a day later, the Selling Sunset reunion airs and—among one of the *many* bombshells dropped—Chrishell finally confirms her new romance.
“I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me. Their name is G Flip," she tells host Tan France and her fellow castmates. "They’re non-binary so they go by they/them. And they are an extremely talented musician. And it started because, you know, I was just going to be in their video. It’s about this chaotic love story. And, you know, I come from soaps, I love acting, and with the job that we have, I don’t always get to do it. And so at first, of course, I was like, ‘Yes, let’s do that.’”
As for her ex Jason’s response? Here’s what he has to say: “They seem like a badass, for one, and two, the smile that’s been on your face the last couple minutes makes me very happy, so I’m proud of you.” 🥺
Then, the “Get Me Outta Here” music video finally drops and it’s EVERYTHING. It features Chrishell and G Flip as love interests, and we can’t get enough of it.
The Selling Sunset star also takes to her own IG to promote the project and posts a cheeky comment saying, “Sorry, everyone, I was confused and thought this was how babies were made. 😬 Back to the drawing board! 🤷🏻♀️ *Full video linked in bio 😜😉 #GetMeOutOfHere @gflip ❤️🔥.”

At the MTV Movie & TV Awards, Chrishell wins an award for Best Reality Star, where she thanks her fans for sticking by her after she came out. “I knew about this nomination before I had said anything about my sexuality,” she says. “I’m not trying to get really deep with you guys, but the fact that this was voted on after means so much to me because I wasn't sure how that was gonna go.”
And of course, she brings G as her date.
Also! Chrishell opens up about her relationship in an interview with Vogue, saying she describes it as “unlocked.”
“It’s when they have the key to your heart, but the walls are down and there are no rules or regulations, just love and support,” Chrishell says. “Plus, it ties into real estate, which is actually quite cute!”
Chrishell also notes, “I think my favorite part is just being around G. It’s such a mood-lifting experience; if you ever had the pleasure of being in the same room with them, you would quickly see what I mean. I love feeling that endless support of just wanting the other person to be fully who they are.”

Just about a year after meeting at the Tones and I Halloween party, Chrishell and G attend the annual Casamigos Halloween bash...once again both dressed as skeletons.

After a little more than a year together, Chrishell and G Flip decide to take their relationship to the next level and tie the knot in Las Vegas (because when you know, you know, you know?). Chrishell announces the happy news on Instagram via an extremely cute video (set to G Flip’s song “Be Your Man” because you gotta stay on brand).
“Love doesn’t always go as planned…sometimes it’s immeasurably better,” Chrishell captions the post. “‘Be Your Man’ is out now & linked in Stories. If you ever get the pleasure of meeting G, know that you are meeting one of the kindest, funniest & most talented hardworking people out there. Please go stream! I love you so much @gflip. ❤️🔥”
But as it turns out, Chrishell and G Flip’s Vegas wedding was more symbolic than legally binding. About a week and a half after Chrishell announced that she and G Flip had tied the knot, TMZ reports that the pair do not appear to be legally wedded, which it says sources close to the situation have confirmed (both TMZ and Page Six checked for receipts and found no record of a marriage license for the couple in Clark County, Nevada, where Las Vegas is located).
This doesn’t change their commitment to each other or the ’ship though, so no need to spiral over this development. Sources close to the couple tell TMZ that even though the Vegas wedding was sans license, “Chrishell and G Flip plan to have an official wedding ceremony somewhere down the line.”

During an interview with People, G Flip opens up about their marriage to Chrishell.
“It's great. We adore each other and we're having so much fun and we're excited for our future and we're so cute together,” they begin before adding, “We have anniversaries for everything. Actually, last week was the anniversary of the first time we kissed, so that was cute. So we have lots of cute little anniversaries, but we always do something special. We like to go on little trips.”
The musician also touches on their recent plans together: “We had a cute little time in London last week. We got massages and had a nice dinner together, but we always do something special. We always get all a bit lovey-dovey. I'm a hopeless romantic, so I get real into it.”

During the interview, Chrishell tells Extra’s Billy Bush that a scene between herself and G had been cut for time. “We were talking lovely things, our family update, all of those things,” she tells Billy, later adding, “I don’t have an update for you as of yet, but we’re working on it. We will have a family.”
