The art of mastering le TikTok dance is no joke, let me tell you. It takes a good hour to get the moves down before you then have to slay the actual dance for the camera. And then you have all these coordinated-as-hell people busting out moves in seconds—SECONDS! Which is why you’ve gotta hand it to Ivan and Emilio Martinez, aka the Martinez Twins, for fully conquering this edition of the TikTok Challenge Challenge.
We started Emilio off with the #IMightJustGoPsycho challenge. Not to be the spoiler king here, but he killed it. He seemed like he picked up the moves as soon as he saw them, so we’re betting he really didn’t need much practice anyway. Also, the joy of watching him smolder at the camera??? Just too pure for words.
Ivan got the #Coincidance challenge, and watching him throw off his jacket as he gets into Derek Hough’s moves shows he means business! Emilio had the smolder, but Ivan brought that million-dollar smile to his challenge. Did he kill it? Kinda. Did he kill us? Um, duh.
The twins finally decided to take on a bunch of other challenges and did them…well, semi justice. They brought moves—they weren’t *necessarily* the moves they were supposed to be doing, but we’ll give ’em a pass. There’s a lotta hip swiveling and a lotta blonde hair flipping about.
Woof, I’ll just respectfully be in my corner and flop around like a fish with no hand-eye coordination.
