After countless “just one more chapter” sleepless nights, endless book hangovers, and hundreds of exclusive reveals, it’s safe to say that Team Cosmo is obsessed with books. We have been for a while: Long before the era of BookTok and #shelfies, we were among the first magazines to publish writers like like H.G. Wells and Mark Twain. We helped nurture the careers of now-bestselling authors (and former Cosmo editors) like Jessica Knoll and Jessica Goodman. We’ve championed writers and stood up for books time and time again and launched highly curated series like The Scroll and First Chapters.

So it makes perfect sense that we’re now going one step further with Cosmo Reads, a brand-new imprint in partnership with Sourcebooks, the fastest growing book publisher in the United States (aka the place that’s brought you the best of everyone from Ana Huang to Scarlett St. Clair).

Launching this October, we’ll publish several books a year from both debut authors and those with established fandoms. Our first slate will focus on inclusive contemporary romance—we are Cosmo, after all—and from there we’ll explore genres like romantasy, celebrity memoir, pop-culture fiction, and more. You will always be able to count on a Cosmo Reads book to be well-written, expertly edited, well-paced, and completely un-put-downable.

Trust us when we say we are so excited about our upcoming lineup of Cosmo Reads authors and books. We’ll be announcing our first ones over the next couple of days, so keep your eyes on this space and get your TBRs ready.
