Since 2023, Elle Fanning has been in a fairytale romance with Rolling Stone CEO Gus Wenner (casual) after they hard-launched at the 2024 Golden Globes (also casual!). According to pics obtained by Page Six, Elle and Gus are first spotted out to dinner in New York with Lorde, Succession actor Annabelle Dexter-Jones, and Gus’ brother, Theo. Elle and Gus are photographed holding hands outside of The Waverly Inn, which marks the actor’s first public romance since she split from her longtime boyfriend, Max Minghella.
January 2024
After a few quiet months, Elle pulls up to the 2024 Golden Globes with Gus as her date. Although she poses by herself on the red carpet, she ends up snapping a pic with Gus.
The pair also arrives at Vas Morgan and Michael Brown’s Golden Globes after-party together, complete with a chic outfit change.
Three days after the Golden Globes, Gus posts a carousel of blurry film pics with Elle on his Instagram feed.

Valentine’s Day comes around, and the couple shows love for each other on social media despite their otherwise low-key tendencies. The Girl from Plainville actor hard-launches her relationship with a snap of Gus on Instagra writing, “My funny Valentine,” alongside a photo of Gus posing on a boat.
April 2024
Gus takes to social media yet again to post a touching tribute to his girlfriend—this time, for her 26th birthday—alongside the caption, “Happy birthday to my 💙.”
The celebs also looked beyond cute at the New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers game at Madison Square Garden.

Now, with awards season in full force, the couple is out on the town every other day! On January 8, they attended an intimate dinner hosted by Louis Vuitton and W magazine.
They then pulled up to W’s Annual Best Performances Party, where they posed with Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell. Dakota (not pictured) was also in attendance.
On January 11, they upheld their adorable tradition of attending the Golden Globes together.
Elle is also Who What Wear’s January cover star, and she fully gushed about Gus during her interview.
“He’s the best,” she told the outlet. “We want to be a part of each other’s lives and share these fun times and experiences together…Why hide? The future looks bright.”
She then admitted that she’s “always wanted kids” since she was “little” before revealing that she and Gus are looking to move in together and work on a renovation project/
“We’ve been going on Zillow and looking at the Upper West and Upper East Side and the potential there [for a renovation project],” she shared. “Isn’t that everyone’s dream, to restore a house? But it takes years, so yeah, I don’t know. That’s why I haven't done it yet!”
