It's a bird! It's a plane! It's...Dylan Efron riding a dragon??? The Traitors winner and breakout star is ready to give it a shot, telling Page Six that he would love to join the television adaptation of Fourth Wing.

“Hell yeah! Sign me up,” he said, when asked about potentially joining the show based on the Empyrean series by Rebecca Yarros. The series is still in early stages of development, with no casting announcements made so far, but Dylan made it clear he's ready to answer the call whenever it comes. As for what character he'd like to play, he doesn't have a strong preference, telling the paper, “Pretty much anyone but Dain.”

Before you start questioning his status as a true fan, just know that Dylan's been public about his love for Fourth Wing. Back in 2024, he shared a TikTok video of himself running while listening to the “hardcore smut.” Looks like dedication to me!

Dylan isn't a professional actor like his brother Zac Efron, but now that he's starred on a reality TV show (and won, NBD), it seems he's not ready to disappear behind the camera just yet. In fact, Dylan previously told Cosmopolitan that he “could see myself going into acting.” He continued, “I have so much respect for what my brother does, and I'm not going to play Ted Bundy, but I think if there are roles that are similar to who I am, I could do a movie. I've always kept that option open.”

So, Dylan's apprehension to playing Dain isn't because he thinks he isn't capable, but more likely because he can't see himself as the bad boy. (Sorry to @anaszabo13 on TikTok, who started campaigning for Dylan to be cast as Dain in February.)But, hey, that just means he's free to play Xaden.

It's unclear where, exactly, the Fourth Wing adaptation is in development. In the meantime, fans can continue to watch Dylan go on his many travel adventures on his YouTube channel and re-read the Empyrean series to get their Fourth Wing fix.
