Meet the Cast and Characters of ‘Dexter: Resurrection’
Let's just say that this cast is pretty killer!
They can't get rid of him that easily. Dexter Morgan is back from the almost-dead (again) in the new spinoff/ sequel series Dexter: Resurrection, streaming on Paramount+ Premium. Following the events of Dexter: New Blood, everyone's favorite self-aware serial killer was left in a coma after being fatally shot in the heart by his own son. Now, ten weeks after, he awakens and heads to New York City to clean up after a murderous mess that he thinks his son made, make amends, and rebuild their father-son relationship. Of course, he can't escape his past and it seems that retirement isn't in the cards for him just yet.
While Dexter loves to do his work alone, this time around he's got some friends—old and new—to possibly help him out (but also maybe sabotage him?). And you're definitely gonna want to get to know this star-studded bunch.

Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan
Dexter isn't your run-of-the-mill serial killer. He's got a strict code of ethics, is meticulous, whip-smart, and extremely self-aware. And this actually his second time coming back from the dead, so he's trying to make good use of this third life and build a good relationship with his son. He has the chance to start anew, but it seems like the past keeps coming back to haunt him.
Golden Globe and SAG Award winner Michael C. Hall has been playing the iconic, titular role of Dexter since 2006. He's also starred in HBO series Six Feet Under, and numerous Broadway and off-Broadway productions.

Jack Alcott as Harrison Morgan
Harrison is Dexter's son with his ex, Rita Bennett. He first lost contact with his father when Dexter faked his death at the end of the original series' eighth season, but they reconnect in New Blood. This, of course, does not end well as young Harry ends up putting a bullet in his own dad's chest. He's certainly a chip off the old block.
Jack Alcott reprises his role from Dexter: New Blood. Outside of the Dexter universe, the American actor is known for his role in Showtime miniseries The Good Lord Bird.

David Zayas as Angel Batista
Angel is an old friend of Dexter's from the Miami Metro Police Department, working alongside each other on cases. Now, he's the captain of the Miami Metro PD's homicide division, and he's got a lot of questions for his recently-resurrected buddy.
David Zayas is best known for this very role within the Dexter universe. He's also played Enrique Morales on the HBO drama series Oz.

Peter Dinklage as Leon Prater
Leon Prater is a billionaire venture capitalist and philanthropist who hides a very dark secret: a vested interest in serial killers. He's long-admired Dexter's work, and has invited him along with other notorious serial killers to do some work for him.
Unless you've been living under a rock, you must already know who the Peter Dinklage is. The award-winning American actor is famous for multiple roles, including Tyrion Lannister on Game of Thrones. He's also starred in several films, including X-Men: Days of Future Past, Avengers: Infinity War, Elf, and more.

Uma Thurman as Charley
Charley is a former Special Ops officer who now works as Leon Prater's Head of Security and right-hand woman. She's the kind of person who you know will definitely get the job done.
Another actor who needs know introduction, Uma Thurman has played many iconic roles in the past including Mia Wallace in Pulp Fiction and Beatrix “The Bride” Kiddo in Kill Bill.

Neil Patrick Harris as Lowell
Lowell is an anesthesiologist by day, but by night he has a twisted alter ego known as "The Tattoo Collector." He specifically targets women with tattoos and always keeps a part of their inked skin as a souvenir.
You might recognize Neil Patrick Harris from a show called How I Met Your Mother. The actor is also famous for his roles as Count Olaf on Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events and Doogie Howser on Doogie Howser, M.D., as well as his amazing voice and Tony Award-winning role in Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Krysten Ritter as Mia Lapierre
Another part of the murderous roster Prater has assembled, Mia is a renowned sommelier with a side-gig as a serial killer known as Lady Vengeance.
Krysten Ritter is an American actress who's starred in some major television hits. She's played Jessica Jones in the Marvel Universe, Jane on Breaking Bad, Kira on Orphan Black, Chloe on Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23, and Gia on Veronica Mars.

Eric Stonestreet as Al Jolly
Al is a Midwestern man and father to two kids. He may seem mild-mannered, but in reality he's a ruthless killer. He's known by the nickname Rapunzel Killer, because he kills women with ponytails, using their own hair to strangle them.
Eric Stonestreet is known for his Emmy Award-winning portrayal of Cameron Tucker on the ABC sitcom Modern Family. He's also starred in multiple film and TV projects, including Almost Famous, Identity Thief, and The Secret Life of Pets.

David Dastmalchian as Gareth
Gareth is known as the Gemini Killer because he always murders in pairs. His killings have been so notorious that films and books have been inspired by them.
David Dastmalchian is an American actor known for his supporting roles in many superhero movies, including The Dark Knight, Ant-Man, The Flash, and The Suicide Squad.

Emilia Suárez as Elsa Rivera
Elsa works at the Empire Hotel, where Harrison also works when he's not out murdering people. The two become fast friends.
Emilia Suárez is a Bolivian-American actor and singer-songwriter. Aside from Dexter: Resurrection, she's also appeared in the movie A Good Person, and other projects.

Kadia Saraf as Detective Claudette Wallace
Detective Wallace works for the NYPD and is keeping a watchful eye on the activities of Dexter, as well as his son.

Dominic Fumusa as Detective Melvin Oliva
Working alongside Detective Wallace is her partner Detective Oliva. He knows Wallace well, and is sometimes the only one who can understand her.
