Everybody say "Thank you, Wattpad!" because yet another story from your fave fanfic site is getting turned into a multi-million dollar movie for your consumption. This time, it's the Spanish romantic drama Culpa Tuya (Your Fault), which serves as the second installment from the Culpables saga written by Mercedes Ron.

If you already finished watching every movie in The Kissing Booth and After series—both originally Wattpad stories, fun fact—then Culpa Tuya on Prime Video is an absolute must-see. Scroll on to learn what to know about the awesome project.

Wait, is Culpa Tuya actually a sequel?

ICYMI Culpa Tuya is actually the follow-up movie to 2023's Culpa Mía (My Fault). The first movie in the series brought the cast of characters from the book to life and laid the groundwork for its drama-filled plot to continue.

Without giving away *too* many spoilers, Culpa Mía, according to Deadline,"tells the story of Noah (Nicole Wallace) who has to leave her town, boyfriend and friends behind and move into the mansion of her mother’s new rich husband. There she meets Nick (Gabriel Guevara), her new stepbrother. They fall madly in love in secret."

What will Culpa Tuya be about?

Despite Nick and Noah's star-crossed romance, the couple tries doing everything in their power to stay together...even though their parents want them to separate. Naturally, things only get more complicated between the lovers in Culpa Tuya. The sequel sees Nick entering his professional career and Noah entering college, which unfortunately "opens up their lives to new relationships that will shake the foundations of both their relationship and the Leister family itself." The official synopsis muses, "when so many people are ready to destroy a relationship, can it really end well?" TBD!

Speaking with Deadline, Wallace hinted that “Nick and Noah come into a little more maturity" and they try to "find out what they want for themselves in a relationship.” The supporting cast gets more screen time with the sequel, too—she added, “there’s a lot more depth into the secondary characters, which I love because you don’t see that sometimes in films.”
