You might want to check out Chad Powers, the new series starring/produced/co-created by America's sweetheart Glen Powell on Hulu as well as Disney+. Following this series week to week in October will help usher in the fall.

If the name and Powell's goofy visage look familiar, you might remember "Chad Powers" from a skit starring IRL star quarterback Eli Manning in his docuseries Eli's Places. In the episode, Manning disguised himself as Powers to try and walk on to Penn State's college football team so that he could fully understand and document the experience. Powell and Loki creator Michael Waldron developed the bare bones of that idea into a fictional show about a talented football player with a love for the game and a more pressing need to hide his identity. It's more of a similar vibe than an adaptation.

When does Chad Powers premiere?

The first two episodes of the series, which introduce Powell as Russ Holiday–a disgraced or "canceled" former college quarterback who disguises himself as "Chad Powers" to get a fresh start as a walk-on at a new school with a team aptly called the Catfish–premieres on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 on Hulu and Disney+. You'll also meet his new coach, mascot bestie, love interest, and rival quarterback played by Steve Zahn, Frankie A. Rodriguez, Perry Mattfeld, and Colton Ryan respectively.

When will new episodes of Chad Powers come out?

After the two episode premiere, new episodes of Chad Powers will drop one at a time on Hulu and Disney+ every Tuesday at midnight EST until the finale on October 28, 2025. There are only six episodes in the season, so the show will unfortunately be over before we know it. This is only a five week venture.
