Alix Earle just hopped on TikTok and revealed that she and Braxton Berrios have, in fact, broken up—and apparently the split came as a shock to the NFL player.
"He was initially blindsided by the breakup and wasn't the one who put it all in motion," a source tells the Daily Mail. "He misses her and the most perfect scenario would be to be back with her, but along with the distance, they would have to figure a few things out before entertaining any type of reconciliation. One thing on their side is that they don't hate each other and he would love to see them back together and he isn't afraid to put in the work."
However, another insider claims the former couple are "done, done" and that "There's no getting back together at this point. She barely even talks about him. Alix had not been happy with the direction their relationship was going in. They spent a lot of time apart and weren't together over Thanksgiving. They were trying to make it work but their busy schedules were getting in the way. It definitely wasn't the same relationship it was two years ago... They're used to being in a long-distance relationship, but DWTS definitely put it to the test."
Talking about the breakup to fans, Alix said she and Braxton were on "good terms," explaining "I don’t want anyone to come for him or be mean to him or to say it's because he couldn't make it to Dancing with the Stars ... because he couldn't come because of football."
