Jude Law as Jake Friedken
John Nacion//Getty ImagesJake currently owns the successful New York bar/restaurant/hang Black Rabbit. He’s divorced, and hasn’t seen his brother in years, but otherwise thinks his life is good and that things are looking up.
Law is best known for films including The Talented Mr. Ripley, The Holiday, Closer, Captain Marvel, the Fantastic Beasts movies, and Sherlock Holmes. He was on Star Wars: Skeleton Crew earlier this year. He has been nominated for an Oscar twice, for Ripley and Cold Mountain. He was The Young Pope!
Jason Bateman as Vince Friedken
Michael Loccisano//Getty ImagesNo longer affiliated with the business and estranged from both his brother and his grownup daughter, Vince is going through it. He’s an addict and stumbles back into the lives of the folks at the Black Rabbit as a last ditch effort to rid himself of debt and turn things back around.
Bateman was once a comedy guy, known for Arrested Development and movies like Horrible Bosses, Juno, Zootopia, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Dodgeball. But while he'll still do the occasional comedy–shout out to Game Night–he's pivoted pretty hard into drama lately with this series, Ozark, and The Carry On.

ANGELA WEISS//Getty ImagesTony is the chef at Black Rabbit.
Hopefully Black Rabbit continues or another Netflix show snatches him up, because Jesús is a little underused. He originated the role of Sonny in In The Heights on Broadway with/starring/composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda and played Boq in Wicked as well. He was in The Boys in the Band on Broadway and in the film, and also reunited with Miranda (who was behind the scenes directing) in the film tick, tick... BOOM!
