Herbert Lowe

Herbert Lowe is a senior lecturer teaching multimedia journalism and the intersection of race, sports, media and gender at the University of Florida College of Journalism & Communications. An avid golfer and lifelong fan of Philadelphia’s sports teams, he previously worked as a reporter at several daily newspapers (including The Philadelphia Inquirer and Newsday) and is a past president of the National Association of Black Journalists.
