• Ned Fulmer confirms he is separated from his wife, Ariel, three years after the cheating scandal that caused him to leave The Try Guys.
  • Ariel was the first guest on Ned's new podcast, Rock Bottom with Ned Fulmer, which premiered on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
  • Ariel and Ned also confirmed that they are living separately and co-parenting their two boys.

It’s been three years since Ned Fulmer of The Try Guys left the public eye after his extramarital affair with an employee. The internet personality is finally coming out of hiding this week, which means he’s ready to give fans the answers they’ve been demanding for years. First up: Are Ned and Ariel Fulmer still together?

According to a spokesperson for Ned, he and Ariel are currently separated. The spokesperson told People that Ned “cares deeply” for Ariel and they recently went on a family trip to Greece with their two kids.

Ned and Ariel opened up a bit more about their separation on the first episode of his podcast, Rock Bottom with Ned Fulmer, which is not only their first public interview since the scandal—it’s also Ned's comeback. “It’s been complicated for a while,” Ned said on Rock Bottom.

“I mean, we’re still friends, we have children together, we go on trips together,” he continued. “There is a spectrum of being together or not together. There’s ways that we are together, but we really haven’t been at all these last three years.”

Instead, he said, they've “recalibrated our relationship towards a platonic friendship.” Oh, and just because they went to that Taylor Swift concert two years ago together doesn’t mean they ever got back together.

For her part, Ariel revealed that she found out about the affair from fans who started sending her photos of Ned and his employee and explained that she still hasn’t forgiven him.

“But also I feel like forgiveness isn’t the goal at this point,” she explained. “The fact that I can be around you and still, like, have a good time and, like, enjoy spending time with you and enjoy spending time with my kids, like, I think that’s a win.”

So, if you see Ariel out and about with her kids and Ned, don’t mistake it for a romantic reunion. “We are not together, we live separately,” Ariel said. “We are devoted co-parents to our two beautiful, beautiful children.”
