Love Island USA season 7 winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales just confirmed their breakup after unfollowing each other on Instagram, and there are some updates!
In case you missed yesterday's news, Amaya dropped a statement saying, "My Papayas—Bryan and I are no longer together. After leaving the villa, it became very clear that we were on two different journeys. Our visions didn’t align and relationships are supposed to be a team sport. You don’t have to drink the whole sea to know it’s salty."
But—as Taste of Reality first noted—it looks like Amaya edited her statement to take out a sentence about bullying. The original—posted by TMZ—reads, "All love here, I do not condone any hate/spread of negativity/bullying," while her edited statement reads "All love here and I truly wish him the best."
Meanwhile, Bryan has dropped his own statement, reading, "Amaya and I have decided to go our separate ways. Unfortunately, we were not on the same page, and that is OK. We both gained clarity that we are on different paths right now. I am thankful for the time we have spent together, and I wish her nothing but the best moving forward."
The couple's breakup comes amid claims of cheating that they both shut down during the Love Island USA season 7 reunion special. "They’re trying to just throw any hate my way," Bryan said during the episode, which was filmed on August 12. "And with the cheating video, the hosting, I got paid to be there, I used to bartend back in the day, I had a lapse in judgment, we’ve talked about it."
