Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins both attended the Met Gala last night...right in the middle of what fans are convinced is a bunch of drama between them. You can get caught up this way, but essentially: Walton and Aimee stopped following each other on Instagram following The White Lotus, Jason Isaacs revealed there was general tension on set, and then everyyyyyone jumped to conclusions. And...here we are.
Oh, and on top of that, Aimee called out SNL for mocking her appearance ahead of Walton being announced as host. It’s been a lot. But Aimee finally “broke her silence” on her costar during a Met Gala red carpet interview with ET, and she only had nice things to say.
Asked if she’d ever make a surprise appearance on Walton’s episode of SNL, Aimee said, “Yeah, it would be fun. I loved working with Walton. It was the best thing ever.”
She added, “He’s going to be incredible doing SNL. It’s the perfect thing for him to do. It’s going to be hilarious. I’m so excited to see it.”
Oh, and of the general drama re: that SNL skit, Aimee said, “I learned people are quite bored and analyze social media way too much, and it also taught me you can say one thing and it turns into this huge...I think I just didn’t realize how...it’s odd. You just can’t really engage too much—it’s very good to learn boundaries.”
Truer words!
