Madison Marilla and Tyler White got engaged during the most recent season of Love on the Spectrum, and now they’re in wedding planning mode. And yep, Netflix is involved! The Sun reports that there’s a “scramble” at the streamer to “lock in filming plans” for the couple’s big day, and they’re currently in negotiations.
“Netflix absolutely wants to film Madison and Tyler’s wedding and both sides are working out how to make that happen,” a source says. “The response from the audience to their engagement only heightened the urgency from production’s side to get this wedding captured on camera.”
Part of the issue? Madison and Tyler would have to keep the wedding secret—much like they had to do for their engagement!—for almost a year.
“There’s a couple of roadblocks though, so it’s not a done deal,” the source continues. “First, the lead-up time from filming to the release is nearly a year, so Madison and Tyler would have to keep the ceremony under wraps for an entire year. However, they were able to make it work with the engagement, but there’s a lot more eyes on them now so it will be harder.”
The source adds, “The other issue is the logistics. Love on the Spectrum is quite a small crew, from a reality TV perspective. Taking on a wedding would be a massive undertaking for Love on the Spectrum’s smaller crew, but they can make it work. It will be featured on camera in some capacity, 100 percent. It’s just a matter of how and where.”
The good news is Madison and Tyler are “fully on board” and “they want their wedding to be filmed and they want the world to watch their love story unfold.”
Can’t wait!
