Alex Cooper’s reality show, Unwell Winter Games, has arrived on YouTube, and the cast is full of famous reality TV faces. Exceppppt for Kendall Washington, who was supposed to be there but dropped out at the last minute.

Alex Cooper revealed that the Love Island star would no longer be participating on the show during the premiere episode, leading to speculation about what was actally going on—and whether it was all staged by production. But according to sources, nope! Not so much.

TMZ reports that there was an “innocent mistake” made when it came to planning flights (cast members were told to book their own), leading to a ton of travel drama. Kendall didn’t make his flight in time to join the show, so Andrew Vetter—a member of the production team—decided to take his place.

Due to Andrew being pretty easy on the eyes and charming, fans assumed all of this was a set up, but, again, nope! Per TMZ, “the move came as a complete surprise to Andrew, who had no idea he’d be stepping in front of the cameras ... despite speculation that it was all a fluke.”

Reminder: Unwell Winter Games follows 16 contestants participating in “mental and physical challenges over four days.” Per Unwell (via THR), “The show promises fierce competition, unexpected alliances and the kind of unfiltered drama that has defined Unwell across its programming slate.”

Cast members include Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Dakota Mortensen, Love Island USA star Huda Mustafa, con artist Anna Delvey, and Dancing With the Stars pro Gleb Savchenko—to name a few!
