Listen, Temptation Island may be a total bonkers show, but it is possible for a couple to leave paradise together and stronger than ever. (Please see: Alexa Santamaria and Lino Troisi from Netflix’s first season.) 24-year-old Kaylee Needham and 25-year-old Summit Wallace definitely seemed like they would follow in Alexa and Lino’s footsteps when they (spoiler!) left Hawaii with the promise of moving in and getting a dog together…but that was back in August 2025. Are Kaylee and Summit still going strong in April 2026?
Fans won’t know for sure until the inevitable reunion special, so tbh, it’s a little hard to tell. The last photo Kaylee shared with Summit on Instagram is from July 2025, before filming took place (likely because production cautioned the cast against posting spoilers), but the fact that she hasn’t deleted it from her grid is still pretty telling!
Oh, and the fact that they both posted from Gatlinburg, Tennessee earlier this week (and made videos in the same exact location) seems pretty promising.
But then again, it seems like Kaylee may have moved to her own place in February despite her and Summit making a plan to move in together…
And also: This guy in her Valentine’s Day TikTok does not look like Summit…
So in conclusion, I have no idea where these two stand right now, but here’s hoping we find out soon!
Ahead of the season 2 premiere, Kaylee told Tudum, “Our biggest hurdle has been navigating our differences. Summit and I are like fire and rain.” Per Kaylee, she hoped to get some clarity from her time on Temptation Island. “We both want very different things out of a partner,” she added, “and if he isn’t willing to fully commit to me, then I owe it to myself to walk away for good.”
Meanwhile, Summit didn’t seem so sure that he could offer Kaylee the stability she was seeking. “I love freedom and squeezing everything out of life,” he told Tudum. “Commitment is something I want eventually—but it’s also something I want to be very sure about before I sign up for forever.”
Kaylee did get the collar and the key…but time will tell whether she actually got Summit to commit.
