Taylor Swift has a lot going on at the moment! On top of still being in her The Life of a Showgirl era (the “Elizabeth Taylor” video just dropped a few days ago!), Tay is literally planning a wedding. So, no, it doesn’t look like we’ll get a new album anytime soon. But that doesn’t mean plans aren’t afoot!

Multiple sources just chatted to Us Weekly allll about Taylor’s wedding, and casually slipped in? A mention of what she has coming up next. Ahem: “She does have another record in the works, but there’s no pressure to release it anytime soon. It’s still very much in the creative stages.”

Another insider confirmed that Taylor won’t be touring The Life of a Showgirl, saying “This was meant to be a lighter, fun chapter. She never meant to do a massive tour attached to it. Taylor’s priority right now is her personal life. She and Travis are saving all their energy for the big summer they have coming up.”

Taylor actually shut down tour rumors herself back in October 2025, saying (when asked if she had the “itch” to do something soon on BBC Radio 1 with Greg James) “No. I’m going to be honest with you, I’m so tired, like, when I think about doing it again. I want to do it really well, again.”

A couple months later in December 2025, a source told Us Weekly that Tay "always has ideas percolating," but is not "locked into" a new tour, adding "There have been ideas floated, but right now she is enjoying her break" and that they aren't "aware of any Showgirl tour plans. The Eras Tour was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so she’s not going to put pressure on herself to make everything that big and ambitious. She’ll make sure the next one is special in its own right, but she’s also realistic about it."
