Amanda Batula and West Wilson just came clean about their relationship in a somewhat vague statement, but apparently they’ve spent weeks “openly lying” to the cast of Summer House about dating.
Speaking to People, an insider claims that “most people on the cast did not see this coming, and many are still in the dark about what has actually occurred.” They add that “West and Amanda kept this very secretive and were openly lying about it, which forced everyone else to put it together over the past few days as the rest of the world did the same.”
Naturally, “there's a lot of hurt, a lot of confusion and a feeling of betrayal among the friend group” who are rallying around Ciara and Kyle.” Meanwhile, everyone is “hoping to have a clearer set of answers when the reunion films in a few weeks.”
Reminder: Bravo reportedly hasn’t picked cameras back up to film the fallout of this drama, and has no plans to move the reunion up—meaning, whatever happens in the next couple weeks will be discussed by the cast. But it doesn’t sound like Ciara is talking to West or Amanda because a source told Us Weekly that she “cut off” both of them and feels deeply betrayed. As they put it, “‘Disappointed’ doesn’t even cover it. This is so much more to Ciara than just breaking girl code.”
