The Drama with Zendaya and Robert Pattinson is already one of those movies where people are making a big deal about a ~twist~ that you apparently do not want to have spoiled. So, if you do have the means to see it in theaters, that is my professional advice. Don’t get caught up in The Drama FOMO drama!

That said, we all lead very different lives. Many of us need to stream The Drama and that’s okay too. If you’re down to wait for streaming, or looking to rewatch (sometimes movies like that are totally different the second time when you know what you know, you know) here are the dirty deets:

How do I watch The Drama NOW?

If you are taking my advice and going to the cinema, you can do so in the United States starting on April 3, 2026.

Okayyyy, WHERE will The Drama be streaming when it is streaming?

This is an A24 release. The independent studio has a streaming deal with HBO Max. Don’t believe me? That’s fair. Eternity, an Apple film that A24 distributed, obviously went to Apple TV+. But Death of a Unicorn, which like The Drama was 1) made by the same production company 2) distributed by A24 and 3) produced by Ari Aster, is currently streaming on HBO Max. So while that is not a guarantee, it feels likely-ish.

Flip it and reverse it: WHEN will The Drama be streaming where it is streaming?

It looks like we might be waiting a minute to stream The Drama. Let’s continue to use Death of a Unicorn as an example. The fantasy horror film debuted on HBO Max on July 25, 2025 a full four months after it opened in theaters on March 28, 2025.

A more recent example of the A24 to HBO Max pipeline is Academy Award nominee If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, which was released in theaters on October 10, 2025 and added to the platform on February 4, 2026. That’s four months as well.

Now, The Drama will be available to rent on PVOD when it leaves theaters in approximately five weeks. But is it really not going to be streaming, on HBO Max or wherever, until July? Can they give The Drama a little push because of the buzz? Fingers crossed. Because honestly, otherwise, I wouldn’t risk the wait.

Bonus: Did you know Robert Pattinson & Zendaya are in EVERY movie this year?

If you’ve been enjoying the press tour for The Drama then I have extremely good news for you. The two stars will be doing interviews for the rest of 2026. Zendaya joined Pattinson in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, which comes out on July 17, 2026! Two of the other Odyssey cast members, Jon Bernthal and Tom Holland, are in another July release with Zendaya called Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Ever heard of it?? Then, on December 18, 2026 you can see Pattinson join Zendaya in Dune: Part Three.
