- Taylor Frankie Paul will reportedly be keeping her entire Bachelorette salary.
- Details on her approximate paycheck were revealed by TMZ.
- ABC cancelled The Bachelorette afterTMZ released footage from a 2023 domestic incident between her and Dakota Mortensen.
ABC might have cancelled The Bachelorette, but the fact is Taylor Frankie Paul filmed an entire season, so yep, she’s getting paid. TMZ reports that the reality star “is getting her full salary” since her contract is for “services rendered” and she “she fulfilled those obligations by filming the entire season.”
So…how much did she make? Per TMZ, Taylor took home a salary in “the low-to-mid six figures.” Which sounds similar to what leads in the past have made. For example, Emily Maynard got $250,000 for her season back in the day, and author Amy Kaufman confirmed in Bachelor Nation that it’s "incredibly rare for someone to make less than six figures."
Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette was cancelled after TMZ released a video of a 2023 domestic incident between her and her ex, Dakota Mortensen. A Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson said in a statement, “In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.”
Meanwhile, Taylor’s rep told Variety, “Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security. After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm. There are too many women who are suffering in silence as they survive aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives. Taylor has remained silent out of fear of further abuse, retaliation, and public shaming. She is currently exploring all of her options, seeking support, and preparing to own and share her story.”
