Summer House newbies KJ Dillard and Dara Levitan found love in the Hamptons when they officially joined the cast last year.
Though Dara came on the show thanks to her ex-fling, West Wilson, she struck up a romance with fellow newbie KJ. The pair hard-launched their relationship on March 17, after KJ claimed he was “in love” with Dara in front of Andy Cohen’s live studio audience on Watch What Happens Live!.
However, Summer House vet Lindsay Hubbard seems to think otherwise. When the cast of the Bravo reality series played a game of Wing Roulette for First We Feast, Lindsay was in the hot seat for a spicy question from her castmate, Bailey Taylor.
“Who do you think is here for love?” Bailey asked. With no hesitation, Lindsay responded, “KJ,” while West agreed and backed up her answer. However, when she was asked who was in it for the fame, she suggested that might be the reason Dara joined the cast for season 10.
“She said it, not me,” Bailey quipped.
The quick swipe comes after KJ admitted to Andy Cohen that he and Dara had feelings for each other—even after their love triangle drama with Ben Waddell.
When asked who the “most welcoming” Summer House cast member was when he joined the season, he gushed, “Dara,” as she blushed from the audience and the crowd erupted in “awws.”
KJ also revealed that they now say “I love you” to each other, saying, “Yeah, I love her.”
A few days earlier, Dara also gushed about their budding romance, telling Page Six that KJ is a “man written by a woman” who has brought her “lover girl” side out.
“There was something different about him for me. He was a little bit more soft-spoken. He led forward with, like, this very kind, warm energy,” she told Virtual Reali-Tea podcast hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy on March 13.
KJ didn’t seem fazed by Lindsay’s comments during Wing Roulette, which means he probably feels secure in his connection with Dara, and it wasn’t a big deal. But still—I live for the drama!
