Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of The Bachelorette was pulled by ABC amid her domestic incident with Dakota Mortensen, but a lot happened while filming. Including Taylor getting engaged to her winner, Doug Mason. The pair allegedly broke up just a month after The Bachelorette wrapped up filming, but now a Page Six source is reporting that they’re still in touch. As they put it, “Frankie [Paul] and Doug are still in touch, but it’s unclear what will happen now, that’s to be determined.”
Reminder that Taylor and Doug recently filmed together (before The Bachelorette’s cancellation). The Sun published photos of them arriving at the same location in L.A. on March 14, and wrote, “It’s believed the pair reunited to film additional scenes for The Bachelorette, perhaps to air at the very end of the season this spring.”
Meanwhile, Doug seems to be making a play to be ABC’s next Bachelor, at least based on him responding to someone who wrote “Doug Mason for Bachelor” with “Let’s goooo.”
He also released an Instagram Stories statement about The Bachelorette’s cancellation, saying “Yo, good morning everybody. In light of everything that’s happened, I’m just sending out prayers to Taylor because that was her moment and her moment was blocked. So all we can do right now is be hopeful. And I’m headed off to run to watch the sunrise. Hope you guys have a great day, let’s stay positive and show nothing but support for people in need. Cheers.”
