• The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Jordan Ngatikaura reportedly filed for divorce—and a temporary restraining order—from Jessi Draper.
  • Rumors started swirling when Chase McWhorter’s sister, Aysia McWhorter, alleged that Jordan got arrested in a TikTok video.
  • Chase has since debunked the rumors with another social media video.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast can’t seem to stay out of the news. Between the recent cancellation of Taylor Frankie Paul’s Bachelorette season and Jessi Draper and Jordan Ngatikaura’s divorce news, MomTok has been taking over headlines.

The latest thing to hit the rumor mill is that Jordan allegedly got arrested—at least, that’s what Chase McWhorter’s younger sister, Aysia McWhorter, seemed to suggest in her TikTok video posted on Monday, March 23.

“It’s a great day today, because I heard that Jordan’s gonna go to jail,” Aysia said at the beginning of her clip before screaming excitedly.

“Yes! Yes. Someone get this man away, locked behind doors, because I don’t wanna see him,” she added. “I don’t wanna see him on my screen, when I’m in Utah…I don’t wanna see him.”

Later the same day, Chase cleared up the rumor that Jordan is going to jail with a video posted to his Instagram profile. In the clip, he’s seen FaceTiming Aysia, who he jokingly said “apparently knows something that none of us know.”

He then asked his sister where she learned Jordan was allegedly arrested. The timeline was interesting, as reports that Jordan had filed a restraining order against Jessi dropped that same day.

“I don’t think he’s going to jail,” Chase claimed, before he playfully teased his sister, saying, “Thank you for breaking the news to us.”

TikToker @jordycray also took part in some boots-on-the-ground journalism, claiming to have DM’d Jordan about the wild theory. According to Jordy’s screenshots, Jordan responded to his message, saying he had “no idea” what Aysia was talking about in her video.

All this to say…I love the SLOMW cast’s commitment to dropping bombshells in TikTok comments and DMs.
