- Ex-Duchess Sarah Ferguson is still considering shopping around a tell-all memoir about the royal family.
- Sarah’s daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, are begging her not to go through with the plans.
- The sisters fear the royals will take out their ire on them, and they’re already being sidelined.
There’s been a lot of speculation about whether Sarah Ferguson will write a tell-all about her life now that ex-Prince Andrew has been arrested, and apparently Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are literally begging her not to. A source tells Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop that “The girls are terrified. They’ve pleaded with Sarah not to do it. Sarah knows everything. She knows exactly how the family would react if another tell-all came out.”
Beatrice and Eugenie are worried that if Fergie writes a memoir, they’ll be the ones ousted by the royals—which has kind of already happened: They aren’t invited to the Royal Ascot this year.
“They feel like hostages,” another insider says. “If Sarah writes the book, the daughters will pay the price. Sarah has very little to lose. Except her daughters.”
Back in December, another source told Rob Shuter that Fergie could get “as much as half a million dollars” for a tell-all and that “she knows exactly what she could sell. But she also knows the price wouldn’t just be paid by her. Nothing’s been threatened outright. But everyone understands there are lines you don’t cross.”
