• Lily Allen’s album, West End Girl, is partly inspired by her public split from David Harbour in Feb. 2025.
  • Across tracks like “Madeline” and “Pussy Palace,” she alleges that their marriage ended after they tried having an open relationship.
  • On the opening night of her West End Girl Tour in Glasgow on March 2, Lily wore a dress made of alleged receipts and screenshots from their split.

Lily Allen is truly thriving. Last year, the singer-songwriter dropped her first album since 2018, West End Girl, which seemingly detailed the downfall of her relationship with Stranger Things star, David Harbour. Fans applauded the Grammy nominee for showcasing her vulnerability on the album, and now, she’s taking her stories on tour.

Her opening night at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow on March 2 marked her first headlining live gig in seven years, and Lily didn’t hold back with her stunning renditions of hits like “Pussy Palace” and “Smile.”

As she performed her fan-favorite track, “4Chan Stan,” she stepped out in a long piece of fabric that included receipts in every sense. Per fan-captured footage, the dress featured shopping receipts for items her ex had allegedly bought for other women, as well as screenshots of text exchanges. Deeper into the song, she revealed a chic, sexy revenge outfit complete with leather hot shorts and lacy lingerie.

Of course, fans lived for her honesty and the fierce fashion moment.

“I’m gonna need someone to list everything it says,” one viewer wrote, while another playfully added, “I’m not being petty to my fullest potential.”

Throughout her set, Lily wore stunning looks conceptualized by Interview magazine editor-in-chief, Mel Ottenberg.

Eight months after her split with David, Lily released her tell-all album, West End Girl, in October 2025. Across 14 tracks, she details the end of their marriage after he reportedly cheated on her in an open relationship.

During a conversation with Interview magazine last November, Lily opened up about the making of the record. “It’s not a cruel album,” she told the outlet. “I don’t feel like I’m being mean. It was just the feelings I was processing at the time.”

She also confirmed she was in a different mental place than she was when she initially penned the songs. “I feel very differently about the whole situation now. We all go through breakups, and it’s always fucking brutal. But I don’t think it’s that often that you feel inclined to write about it while you’re in it,” she said.

She continued, “That’s what’s fun about this record; it’s viscerally like going through the motions,” Lily shared about the chronological nature of her storytelling across the 14 songs. “At the time, I was really trying to process things, and that’s great in terms of the album, but I don’t feel confused or angry now. I don’t need revenge.”’

Couldn’t love her more!!
