The faithfuls and traitors gathered round for another diabolical challenge on The Traitors last night: spinning around on a carnival ride and then being forced to rip open stuffed animals in a hunt for money and a shield.

As host Alan Cumming put it, "This mission is going to be all the fun of the fair. For me, at least. For you, I imagine it is going to be terrible. Your mission today is as simple as it is unnerving. Strap yourselves in and hold on. When the lights stop, you must disembark and fight for bags of gold worth between $750 and $5,000 stuck inside some of the cuddly fair grand prizes. Once you found a bag of gold, you must run back to the ride, bank the money and seal yourselves for another spin."

However, Tara Lipinski and Eric Nam didn't participate in the spinning part of the challenge, and two completely deranged dolls sat in their spots instead.

Eric and Tara haven't explained why they were unable to do the challenge, but the use of dolls on the spinning ride proves that yes, medical exemptions can be made on The Traitors! In fact, Alan straight up said they couldn't participate due to undisclosed medical reasons. Something to keep in mind in future seasons!
