At Cosmopolitan, The Sound of Now is our way of celebrating the artists who are defining music in real time. Welcome to our Sound of Now: Class of 2026, a special digital issue that brings you inside Grammys weekend.
The telecast may have cut once the lights went down at the 2026 Grammy Awards following Bad Bunny’s historic Album of the Year win, but the stars themselves were only getting started with their night. On Sunday in Los Angeles, Universal Music Group hosted waves of attendees at its 2026 Grammy Awards after-party, bringing together artists, tastemakers, toasters, and Cosmopolitan as a media partner to capture a side of the night that fans don’t typically see.
Following a packed weekend of red carpet step-and-repeats, Cosmo’s after-party lens—crafted expertly by photographers Hunter Abrams and Sam Lee—focused on something a little different: playful, post-show portraits in a makeshift photo set hidden within the depths of the party.
The photos below were taken during a well-earned exhale after a marathon awards weekend. They feature Amber Mark, Amy Taylor, Anyma, Asha Banks, Au/Ra, Benee, Chelsea Cutler, Chxrry, Ela Taubert, Em Beihold, FLO, flowerovlove, KATSEYE, Kylie Cantrall, Lisa Loeb, Loud Luxury, Magnus Ferrell, Martha Stewart, Nettspend, The Osbournes, Paris Jackson, REI AMI, Rose Gray, Scott and Mark Hoying, Shania Twain, Stephen Sanchez, Suki Waterhouse, and Tucker Wetmore.
Scroll on to see the exclusive Cosmopolitan portraits from inside Universal Music Group’s 2026 Grammys after-party and relive the night exactly as it unfolded once trophies were handed out and the real party began.
