Raise your hand if you’re like me and you’re very glad to see the 2026 Winter Olympics arrive to give us a much-needed distraction from *gestures wildly* all of this! One of the sports I’m counting down to watch? Figure skating, duh! I mean, the outfits! The hair and makeup!! The triple axels!!! The TALENT!!!! If oohing and aahing came to life and were a sport, it’d one thousand percent be Olympic figure skating.

Now that the 2026 Winter Olympics have officially kicked off in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, it is required reading to know which women’s ice-skaters are representing Team USA. Gotta know who to root for, you know? A total of eight women are part of the team this year, with each of them competing in either singles, pairs, or ice dance (the latter two with a partner, of course).

Without further ado, meet all the ladies competing in what is probably the prettiest sport ever on the biggest stage ever.

Singles

Amber Glenn

At 26 years old, Amber will compete in her very first Olympics. Her age is particularly noteworthy since it’s become common for a lot of athletes in women’s skating to go to the Games in their teens versus in their 20s.

Alysa Liu

Following a 6th place finish in 2022 at Beijing, 20-year-old Alysa is now competing in her second Olympic Games and is definitely one to watch.

Isabeau Levito

At 18 years old, Isabeau is competing in her first-ever Olympic Games as the youngest American athlete of the 2026 Olympics.

Pairs

Ellie Kam

The 2026 Games will be the first that 21-year-old Ellie competes in, and she’s joined by her pairs dancing partner, Daniel O'Shea. The two have been partners since 2022.

Emily Chan

28-year-old Emily is also making her Olympics debut this year, competing alongside Spencer Akira Howe, with whom she’s been skating since 2019.

Ice Dance

Madison Chock

33-year-old Madison is heading into her fourth Olympics after competing with partner Evan Bates at the 2014, 2018, and 2022 Games. (Fun fact: They’re an IRL couple, too, having tied the knot in 2024!)

Emilea Zingas

Originally a singles skater representing Cyprus, 23-year-old Emilea and her partner, Vadym Kolesnik, have been skating together since 2022, and they won fourth place in their first competition at the 2023 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

Christina Carreira

25-year-old Christina has been partners with Anthony Ponomarenko for nearly 12 years, but this will be their first time competing at the Olympics.
