Heads-up: Justin Bieber just did his first solo performance in four years at the 2026 Grammys, singing “Yukon.” The performance could be best described as literally stripped down, because Bieber hit the stage wearing only boxers and a guitar. He started by simply playing the guitar riff and looping it using equipment that was already out onstage. Then he sang along to this alone with no other bells and whistles.

But the performance wasn’t just exciting for fans of Justin’s music. Fans of his relationship with his wife, Hailey Bieber, were offered a little something, too. A couple shots of her bobbing along to the music were included during the performance, and she looked particularly proud at the end.

Miss it? Fret not—you can watch it (or rewatch it...) here:

Justin Bieber was nominated for Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best R&B Performance, and Best Pop Solo Performance ahead of this year’s ceremony, and following the announcement, his wife Hailey Bieber took to Instagram to celebrate.

“27x nominee! Let’s go baby,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. (For the record: Of those 27 Grammy nominations, Justin has shockingly only won twice: once for Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “Where Are Ü Now” in 2016, and another time for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “10,000 Hours” with Dan + Shay in 2021.)

The fact that Justin performed at the Grammys this year is kind of a big deal, considering he hasn’t hit the stage for a solo performance since his 2022 Justice World Tour, which ended up wrapping early. The reason: He was diagnosed with Type 2 Ramsay Hunt syndrome, and he first shared the news with fans back in June 2022.

“I wanted to update you guys on what’s been going on,” he said at the time. “Obviously, as you can probably see from my face, I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome. It is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis.”

A few months later, he told fans he was “going to take a break from touring” in order to make his “health the priority right now.”

In a statement posted to his Instagram Story, Justin explained, “I’m going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better.”

So glad to see him back onstage!
