Believe it or not, it’s been less than a week since Brooklyn Beckham released the bombshell statement confirming a long-rumored feud with his family...and while his mom Victoria Beckham has yet to directly address the drama, she’s not staying silent, either.
On January 23, the former Spice Girl took to her Instagram Stories to reshare a video of her middle son Romeo walking the runway for Willy Chavarria during Paris Fashion Week, writing, “Proud of you @romeobeckham.”
What’s more: Just hours before that, Victoria reposted her youngest son Cruz’s tour announcement on her Instagram Story along with the caption, “So proud of you Cruz!!”

As a reminder: On January 19, Brooklyn posted a series of Stories on Instagram, alleging that his parents David and Victoria have been “controlling the narrative” and that he has no desire for a reconciliation with them. And aside from David’s vague comments about his kids making “mistakes” on social media, the Beckhams have yet to officially respond to their oldest son’s accusations.
However! A source for The Sun reportedly claimed that Victoria has been fluctuating between “extreme hurt and [being] filled with rage,” with another source adding, “Despite everything that’s happened, David and Victoria still love their son. He will always be their boy, and there will always be a place for him in their home. They have tried everything in their power to mend their relationship with him and it hasn’t worked.”
And while the Beckham family feud is...complicated, most of the drama seems to have stemmed from an “inappropriate” dance Victoria did at Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz’s wedding. To quote Brooklyn’s Instagram statement:
“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”
