- Maura previously named Rob as the Traitors castmate she’d take to a hypothetical “hideaway,” fueling even more speculation about a possible romance.
If you’ve been watching season four of The Traitors (and if not, what are you doing???), then you’ve probably been picking up on the major vibes between Love Island alums Maura Higgins and Rob Rausch...and you’re definitely not the only one. During the January 21 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen finally confronted those Maura and Rob dating rumors, and her response was, in a word, cryptic.
Getting right to the point, Andy said, “Maura, the internet wants you and Rob to get together. And?”
As the audience whooped, Maura replied, “Yeah, I saw. There’s a lot of videos on TikTok at the moment.”
But Andy wasn’t about to give up so easily. He proceeded to ask her what she thought of fans shipping her and Rob, to which she replied, “I mean, you’ll have to watch the show to see if that happened.”

As a reminder: Maura first rose to fame on Love Island season five in 2019, where she entered as a Bombshell on Day 10 and finished in fourth place with Curtis Pritchard. (Spoiler alert: They didn’t last.) She’s since appeared on other reality TV shows (including I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!), and most recently, she’s served as the presenter for Love Island USA: Aftersun and Love Island Games: Aftersun.
Meanwhile, Rob made his reality TV debut on Love Island USA season five in 2023 (where he had a very short-lived stint), followed by a second appearance on Love Island USA season six in 2024.
Both stars were (reportedly) single when season four of The Traitors was filmed back in summer 2025, so...it’s possible something went down between them in Ardross Castle!
It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time Maura has raised eyebrows with her comments about Rob. When asked by fans in a video for Page Six which of her Traitors costars she would take the “hideaway” (you know, if Traitors actually had a hideaway), she admitted, “I would probably say Rob.”
Here’s hoping for more flirtation (and possible romance confirmation) as the season goes on.
