Romeo Beckham has broken his social media silence following his older brother Brooklyn Beckham's statement earlier this week, in which he accused their parents David and Victoria Beckham of "controlling the narrative" following rumors of an alleged feud.
On Monday night, Brooklyn Beckham seemingly broke the internet after issuing a bombshell statement on his Instagram Stories, where he appeared to address the rumors of a feud between himself and his wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham and his famous parents. In a series of posts Brooklyn said he felt he'd been left with "no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth."
Brooklyn then went onto allege Nicola was not welcome in his family, claiming he was told the night before the couple's wedding in 2022, that Nicola was "not family." Brooklyn then claimed himself and Nicola had suffered, "endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders."
He also claimed his father David had refused all opportunities to spend time together for his 50th birthday unless, "it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner."
Brooklyn ended his post alleging, "Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even it it’s at the expense of our professional obligations. We’ve gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show ‘our perfect family.'"
Since the statement was shared, neither Victoria nor David have commented on the claims, but the family has been slowly returning to social media, with Victoria posting a series of Instagram Story posts for former Spice Girls bandmate Emma Bunton's birthday yesterday (January 21), and Cruz Beckham posting a series of posts about his new music and tour.
And now the second eldest Beckham child Romeo has shared his first post following the statement. On his Instagram Story earlier today, the 23-year-old share a picture to his 4 million followers. The picture features the back of a car, and a foot that appears to be Romeo's and a woman's feet, which is likely to be the feet of his girlfriend, Kim Turnbull.
The picture featured two emojis which indicated the pair were heading to Paris, likely for Men's Fashion Week, which is currently taking place in the French capital city.
So far David and Victoria have not commented directly on their son's statement. On Tuesday, David was asked by Sky News, "David, do you have a message for Brooklyn this morning?" while taking selfies at an event in Davos. David did not respond to the reporter's question.
