It’s only been a few weeks, but we still can’t help but wonder what’s going on between Alix Earle and Tom Brady. After confirming her split with Houston Texans wide receiver Braxton Berrios in December, Alix was spotted partying on a yacht in St. Barts with Tom. Ofc, dating rumors have been swirling ever since, as Alix claimed she made “new friends”—ahem, Tom???—on the trip.

Now, the former New England Patriots quarterback has seemingly weighed in on the rumors during an interview with People published on January 14. While he didn’t name names, Tom insinuated that he still might be single in conversation with the publication.

“You know what? I don’t have much time for a personal life or much time for myself, but I love working and I love my kids,” he said at the Fanatics Studios launch party at Intuit Dome in L.A.

The retired NFL player-turned-sports commentator added, “I like to be busy and try to really stay fulfilled in the things I’m doing, so I’m working on some really cool projects and I’m involved with some great teams of people that are doing some really positive things.”

His comments follow those of Alix’s dad, Thomas “TJ” Earle, and stepmom, Ashley Dupré, who seemingly joked about the star athlete during a GRWM video posted to TikTok on January 4.

In the clip, Ashley showed off a blue velvet blazer that previously belonged to TJ, who admitted, “I actually got that jacket because I saw Tom Brady wearing one like that.” Ashley immediately responded, “Are you joking?” before later saying, “You know what, honey, you just say the darnedest things. How ironic is that?”

While Alix and Tom haven’t explicitly confirmed nor denied the nature of their connection, Page Six sources claim that they hit it off on New Year’s and “broke off from the larger group, talking for a lot of the night” in a “private cabin.”
