Several new couples emerged in 2025, but my personal favorite? Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro. Andrew’s Chicken Shop Date with Amelia Dimoldenberg airs, and—thanks to their incredible chemistry—rumors kick off that these two are maaaaybe dating in real life. I mean, the vibes are something else:

Andrew and Monica are photographed together at the W Magazine Best Performances party in L.A, but Eddie Redmayne and journalist Lynn Hirschberg are in the picture so no one reads into things. Yet.
February 2025
Andrew and Monica are spotted watching Richard II on what looks to be a date but could potentially be a friendly encounter between peers. WHO IS TO SAY!

The next day, a source tells People that Monica and Andrew are officially dating, saying, “They’ve been really low-key and have been spending time together quietly.”
Plus! Amelia confirms she’s single to the New Yorker, and when asked about Andrew specifically, says, “I don’t think it’s going to happen—otherwise, I would be going out with him already, wouldn’t I?”
March 2025
Monica hits the red carpet at the Oscars and does a hilarious interview with Amelia about the thing they have “in common.”
Annnd then Andrew and Monica are spotted leaving the Vanity Fair Oscars Party on their way to Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s after-party.
