Charlie Hunnam is nominated for a 2026 Golden Globe thanks to playing serial killer Ed Gein in Monster: The Ed Gein Story, and he just might be joined on the red carpet by his longtime girlfriend, Morgana McNelis. Who—by the way—Charlie just referred to as his "wife" a few days ago. So, yep, clearly we have some things to catch up on!

She's a Jewelry Designer

Morgana's line is called Maison de Morgana, and Zac Efron's a fan, which is all the endorsement I need.

She Values Her Privacy and Has Had a Hard Time With Trolls

Charlie had to ask fans to stop harassing Morgana back in 2016, saying on Facebook (via People) "It has been brought to my attention that there is a group of immature girls posting a large number of hard messages aimed at my long time girlfriend. I would respectfully ask you to stop doing this. She is an intelligent, beautiful, kind person who just tried to live a simple life and has nothing to do with the entertainment industry."

He added, "What is most confusing is that these negative and totally unprovoked attacks appear to be coming from the people who call themselves my fans. Think about the logic of this for a moment. This is a girl I love very much and have spent the last eleven years of my life with and hope to spend the next sixty years. She has been my loyal and supportive partner long before I had any success or money. Why would you attack her out of admiration for me? It makes no sense."

Morgana also released a statement, saying "I just wanted to say I very deeply appreciate all of the kind words said in my defense. I feel infinite gratitude for all of the support that is being shown towards my relationship and business. The outpouring of positivity gave me courage to keep being vulnerable and to continue to put myself and my designs out into the universe. It’s so encouraging and comforting to know that there are classy, smart, beautiful, compassionate women in this world supporting other women. I couldn’t do this without you ladies."

They're...Maybe Married?

While chatting about his New Year's Eve, Charlie told ExtraTV, "It's good, we did it quiet. I always like to ring in the new year mainly on the 1st rather than on the 31st. So my wife and I went to bed early, got up, had a really beautiful hike and came in, set some intentions."

That said, back in 2020 (per TooFab), Charlie also said he "sort of" already considers them married, since the "official government sanction of it doesn’t mean anything to me but the romance of it means an enormous amount."

They've Been Together Two Decades

And they almost never walk red carpets, but Morgana did show up to support him during the 2025 Emmys, and the premiere of Monster!

She Was Not Into Him Doing the Ed Gein Voice at Home

"I was slipping in and out of it all the time and she was saying, 'Dude. You have to stop with the voice,'" Charlie told E!. "At breakfast, it's a little too much."

They Live on a Farm Together

It sounds incredible, and if you want to feel jealous here's this:

She's Constantly Falling in Love With Charlie (Same)

As Morgana told Taylor Magazine, "I think the key to maintaining a good balance is creating a safe space within the relationship for both partners in which to grow and evolve. It's very important to be present and participate in each other's experiences so that falling in love doesn't happen just once, it continues to happen over and over."
