Chase Stokes and Kelsea Ballerini appear to officially be back together right in time for a fresh chapter in 2026—which Chase confirmed himself on New Year's Eve. The Outer Banks actor shared several photos of himself and Kelsea to Instagram, captioning them "Something I’ve learned this year: don’t take advantage of the most beautiful things that in 33 years of life are fleeting. Take accountability, learn from mistakes. Lean into love and say it often. 2026 my year of growth, my year of truth. Starting here, starting now. Happy new years ❤️"

This comes just over a month after he seemingly confirmed their breakup on November 20, writing on his Instagram Stories, "Don't believe the media. I'm blocked, I did nothing wrong. Sorry. I tried. I'm sorry for those who believed in us. It is what it is. Onwards and upwards."

They also previously broke up in September, when a source told Us Weekly, "They had been arguing a lot recently, and their communication wasn’t great in the last month. They were both traveling so much and trying to juggle everything, and the arguments piled up."

Meanwhile, a source told Daily Mail following their most recent November breakup that "I wouldn't count them out for trying again. Currently that is not happening, but if they do, her friends wouldn't agree with it and would like her to stay away."
