You may have noticed that Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner stepped out at the Marty Supreme premiere serving Oompa Loompa in matching orange Chrome Hearts fits—an unexpected appearance that effectively shut down recent breakup rumors. But a source tells the Daily Mail that the couple had, in fact, taken a breather ahead of the buzzy carpet.
"They cool down and they heat up," an insider said. "Before the premiere, they were in the cool-down cycle. They hadn't returned each other's stuff, they hadn't blocked each other - they were taking a breather."
Another source noted that "Right now, Timothée is interested in winning [awards] and supporting his projects and becoming the actor he wants to become, and not being in a relationship would be OK with him. His career is what's important right now. Kylie might not like it, but it's something she has to accept if she wants him back in her life."
Keep in mind Daily Mail insiders are the ones who previously declared that Kylie and Timmy had broken up, only for People sources to chime in that they absolutely hadn't. In other words, take this all with a grain of salt! As a reminder, the People insiders in question said "they’re great," they make "an effort to see each other every few weeks," they're "making plans" for the holidays, they're "really in love" and they're "going strong."
