If you watched Selling Sunset season 9, then you’re all too familiar with the season’s most controversial scene, which saw Mary Bonnet have a sliiiightly dramatic reaction to receiving flowers from Chelsea Lazkani following a home robbery. Chelsea’s bestie has already called out Mary for her inappropriate response, but now Chrishell Stause is coming for Selling Sunset’s production team—which happens to include her ex, Jason Oppenheim.

A year-old clip of Chelsea appearing on Carlos King’s Reality with the King podcast has recently resurfaced following the events of season 9, in which Chelsea discusses the “struggle” of being her “authentic self” when, as a Black woman, she’s constantly fighting against the perception that she’s a “bully.” In support of her friend, Chrishell took to the comments section to write a pointed message.

“This is heartbreaking,” Chrishell wrote. “And WHY you shouldn’t have an all white production company with an exec producer credit and editing power to Jason who has power to say, if you don’t take that out, there is no show.” Iiiinteresting!

If you haven’t heard, there is currently a rumor circulating online that a contentious scene was cut from this season, which allegedly saw Jason and Mary firing Chelsea from The Oppenheim Group.

According to @theresa.conception on TikTok, “Unaired footage shows Jason and Mary firing Chelsea in the office and Chelsea, rightfully so, calls them out for being racist. It got so heated that Jason demanded the cameras turned off and said he’d cancel Selling Sunset and Selling the OC if production aired that footage so it was left out.”

No one from the cast has confirmed this rumor, but Chrishell’s latest comment at least seems to suggest that Jason had a big influence over what went into the final edit.

Chrishell (who announced a few days earlier that she will not be returning to Selling Sunset after her nine-season run) previously called out Mary for her treatment of Chelsea this season.

Following the season 9 premiere, Mary sat down with Us Weekly to chat through the drama with Chelsea, explaining that she become emotional over seeing Chelsea’s name card at Bre Tiesi’s party for a reason. “At Bre’s party, I wasn’t just emotional,” she said. “There were some things from after the dinner that happened that I didn’t want to put myself in a situation where I’m in danger.”

In response, Chrishell fired back with an Instagram Story call-out, where she wrote, “I was there for all the on-camera and off-camera moments. You were never in danger, girl. Alluding that you ever were [in danger] regarding Chelsea is really dangerous rhetoric. Do BETTER.”

Chelsea has yet to comment on the season’s drama following the reunion, but according to TikToker Michelle Knutsom—who is a licensed agent in California—Chelsea has allegedly allowed her real estate license to expire, leading fans to believe she’s ready to leave Selling Sunset behind.
