- A palace source says they "would not be surprised" if Prince William stripped Prince Harry of his title.
- There are reports that William will remove titles from 9 family members when he's king.
- The Prince of Wales will potentially "park" the titles of his children.
King Charles just stripped his brother, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, of his "prince title," a history-making move that could open the door to future title changes in the royal family. And while it seems extremely unlikely that King Charles would remove the titles of anyone else, Prince William...might.
A palace source tells Page Six that they "would not be surprised" if future "King William" stripped Prince Harry of his title, saying "If they pass these bills, I would not be surprised if Harry is the next one to go. I would not be surprised if William does that…he’s not a vindictive person, but he feels very let down and it’s always much more difficult when you are let down by somebody close to you."
This comes amid a source telling The Daily Beast that William will "remove princely titles from all non-working royals," and they'll also be stripped of their "HRH" (His/Her Royal Highness) honorifics. The list includes Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, Princess Lilibet, Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, and even—potentially—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Though when it comes to William's kids, The Daily Beast notes that they'll have their royal titles "parked" until they're old enough to decide if they want to be working royals or not!
