Kat posts another TikTok where she references the rumors, saying, "Have you ever woken up one morning to, like, a million notifications about your personal life? And people saying things about you, and you're like wait why are they saying all this stuff, what's happening? Like personally I have not, but that sounds horrible. Especially if you have anxiety, oh boy, which I do, that would suck so bad. Could never be me. I don't know how people do it to be honest, yikes."

The fated day that Us Weekly reports that John and Kat are officially dating after meeting online. A source tells the outlet, "John sought her out and pursued her. Kat just broke up with someone she had been dating for a few months and thought it would be fun to date again, and was interested in John."
The insider also notes that while things are "still very new," John's been "actively pursuing her, inviting her places and texting her often. She is interested and seeing where it goes." They add that Kat "doesn’t think this will be a serious relationship" and is just "having fun."

DeuxMoi breaks the news that John and Kat were "spotted on two dates this past weekend" including "a private members club in New York City" where an eyewitness described the vibe as "definitely a first date, maybe a second date" and noted that "they were very touchy."
