• A source denies claims that Prince William threatened to strip Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice of their titles.
  • There were previous reports that William had pressured his cousins to get Prince Andrew out of the Royal Lodge.
  • Andrew will "formalize his decision" about leaving "within days."

After mounting pressure from Prince William, King Charles, the British government, the British public, and pretty much everyone else, it looks like Prince Andrew has finally agreed to leave the giant mansion he rattles around in.

Page Six reports that the disgraced royal will "formalize his decision" to leave the Royal Lodge "within days" but that he's aware staying isn't an option. "Andrew realizes he has to leave," a source says. "The hounds are at bay—and the hounds are quite powerful these days."

Andrew's decision to leave comes amid speculation that Prince William had threatened to take away Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice's titles if they didn't get their dad to move. ICYMI, News Agents podcast host Emily Maitlis (who conducted Prince Andrew's infamous BBC interview) said, "There was a question over whether there had been, earlier in the day, a meeting between Prince William and the princesses Beatrice and Eugenie saying, 'You’ve got to get your dad to move out of Royal Lodge, otherwise we will start re-examining the state of your own titles.' They are, at the moment, allowed to be princesses, but there was pressure being put on them."

However, Page Six's source says, "I have never heard such nonsense. Anyone who knows William knows he is not that venomous and is fond of his cousins."

So, where will Andrew move? There were reports that he would take up residence in Frogmore Cottage (aka the home Prince Harry and Meghan Markle used to live in) while his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, would move into Adelaide Cottage (the home Prince William and Kate Middleton currently live in). But apparently that plan has been scraped.

Either way, he'll be looked after by King Charles. Per an insider, "The King knows he has to look after Andrew in some respect. There’s no doubt that Andrew has been rude and insensitive over the years, and there are a lot of people now getting their revenge."
